In Egypt, stray dogs are a common sight in many neighborhoods and streets. These dogs are often in poor health and are a source of danger to both humans and other animals. They can carry diseases such as rabies, and their aggressive behavior can lead to attacks on people. Despite the efforts of some animal welfare organizations to help control the population of stray dogs through sterilization and adoption programs, the problem persists. Many people view these dogs as a nuisance and do not want them in their neighborhoods.
Sophia was heartbroken when she saw this and was compelled to help. DoggieHomes, Inc was founded to help dogs in Egypt and the United States find health and happy homes.
